Not Literally

We are Not Literally, and we love singing, and comedy, and above all Harry Potter.

We are Ginny and Dana.

We don't follow back or follow when asked, sorry!
Asker catedrals Asks:
People have their own views of each house--everyone seems to describe them all a little differently. How would you each describe the four houses? (This seemed like a much better question when I thought of it earlier.) Anyways, love the sketches! I always enjoy seeing something new from you guys.

We are finding through Ask Hogwarts (and the complaints we’re getting!) that this is true, haha. I think the fact that the houses are comprised of people (you know…individuals, not able to be defined solely in a handful of adjectives) makes the actual nature of each house hard to pinpoint.

But the way that we’re going about our theorizing is something like this:

Gryffindor: confident/arrogant, trouble with authority, passionate, stubborn

Slytherin: vain, dismissive, intelligent, selfish

Ravenclaw: studious, nerdy/antisocial, logical, irritable

Hufflepuff: kind, friendly, accepting, awkward

As you can see, I’ve listed a lot of negative traits for each, because the majority of our comedy is centered around human flaws (as much comedy is.) That means we’re playing off of the downsides of every set of traits. That’s why it feels so silly when people say that we’re being degrading to a certain house. Newsflash, guys—we’re being rude to all of you. ;D
